AMENITIES
The best thing about TPL is absolutely the members. If we didn't have any of the amenities, or the 82 beautiful acres, this would still be the most fun you could have in Maine. Its the members and the community which make every visit to Twin Ponds Lodge unforgettable. And yes, we do offer great amenities that ensure enjoyment year-round, before and after the summer camping season.
Inside the Lodge
While the campground itself has 82 acres, with tenting areas, 7.5 miles of trails, two meadows, two ponds, loads of wildlife, and beautiful views, the lodge itself is also loaded with things to do. The lodge is divided into two distinct areas, first there is the main hall. The main hall has a dining space, a full bar, a lounge area, and the billiards tables. We use this space to host many of our events, including the weekly pot-luck, the weekly billiards tournament, Bingo, games, and of course Karaoke. Twin Ponds Lodge has one of the best Karaoke systems in Maine. This area also houses the Bear's Den which is our video lounge.
The other half of the lodge houses the wet rooms. The wet rooms consist of a group shower, a steam room, a dry sauna, and a hot tub. The pool room also houses a small video lounge and two small cabana like rooms, incase you would like to relax in private.
Inside the lodge we also have a locker room, restroom, and of course the office where you check in upon arrival. The office also has a small shop with an assortment we're pretty sure you won't find anywhere else.
